A father in Oklahoma City tackles a local pastor who was seen inappropriately touching his son at a bus stop.

The Church says, “Church leadership has no tolerance for any type of abuse and is meeting tonight to discuss next steps.” Meanwhile on their web site we read; “The Children’s Ministry at Lakehoma seeks to partner with parents in laying a spiritual foundation for their families…”
This is what can happen when we start introducing unbiblical groups and programs into the local church. Where is the term “Youth Pastor” found in the Bible. Cannot find it, no problem just make it up as you go along. It sounds good, and brings in the people.

Our churches hire men straight out of a bible college to head up the youth group. Young men who themselves need guidance, and grounding in the Word of God.
If you want to keep your children safe, and lay a spiritual foundation you can find it in the Word of God. It is your responsibility, not the church! Open your Bible at home and read it with the family. Psalm 127:1
